From arrival to landing – your experience step by step
Arrival & Briefing
You arrive at Beromünster and are welcomed by your tandem instructor. In a 20-minute briefing you learn the correct body position, all safety procedures and what to expect during the jump. All equipment – jumpsuit, helmet, goggles and the tandem parachute system – is fitted for you personally.
Climb to 4,000 Metres
The Cessna 208 Supervan takes you to 4,000 metres above sea level in around 20 minutes. From the aircraft you already see Lake Lucerne's distinctive star shape below, with Pilatus and Rigi framing the horizon. The perfect anticipation builder for what's about to come.
Freefall – 45 to 55 Seconds
You exit the aircraft and experience 45 to 55 seconds of pure freefall at up to 200 km/h. Below you: Lake Lucerne in all its glory, Mount Pilatus, the Rigi and the entire central Alpine panorama stretching towards Uri and the Gotthard. A view you'll never forget.
Canopy Flight & Landing
At around 1,500 metres the parachute opens. You enjoy 5 to 8 minutes of peaceful gliding over the Lucerne region. Your instructor steers you safely to the landing zone – you touch down on your feet and carry the memory for life.
