The nearest drop zones for Lausanne are Flying Devil in Les Eplatures (canton of Neuchâtel, approx. 75 km) and Swiss Boogie in Kappelen (canton of Bern, approx. 80 km). Both are reachable within about an hour by car. Tandem jumps run from April to October with licensed instructors and all-inclusive packages.

How Does a Tandem Skydive Work?
From arrival to landing – step by step
Arrival & Briefing
You arrive at the drop zone and meet your tandem instructor for a 20-minute ground briefing covering body position, safety procedures and the jump sequence. All equipment is fitted for you personally.
Climb to 4,000 Metres
The aircraft climbs to 4,000 metres in 15–25 minutes. The Lake Geneva region and the Alpine panorama grow more spectacular with every metre of altitude gained.
Freefall – 45 to 55 Seconds
You exit the aircraft and experience 45–55 seconds of freefall at up to 200 km/h. Lake Geneva shimmers below, the Lavaux vineyards step down to the water, and the French Alps tower across the horizon.
Canopy Flight & Landing
At 1,500m the parachute opens for 5–8 minutes of peaceful gliding. Your instructor brings you to a smooth standing landing – an experience perfectly matched to Lausanne's reputation as one of Switzerland's most refined cities.
