How to Buy a Skydiving Voucher in Switzerland
Direct from the drop zone – simple, fast and always valid
Skydiving gift vouchers in Switzerland are purchased directly from the certified drop zones. There is no central booking platform – each drop zone manages its own vouchers, which means the voucher is always valid, the price is transparent and there are no platform fees. Contact the drop zone of your choice (see the list below), state the number of vouchers you need, and they will issue printable or digital certificates – typically within 24 hours, often within minutes.
Prices
A standard tandem jump voucher costs between CHF 330 and CHF 400 per person depending on the drop zone. This covers all equipment, the ground briefing and the full tandem jump to 4,000m. Optional add-ons you can include in the voucher value:
- Video package (helmet-cam footage): CHF 60–90 extra
- Photo package: CHF 40–70 extra
- Video + photo combo: CHF 80–130 extra
If you want to cover the video package in the voucher, simply add the drop zone's video surcharge to the voucher value when purchasing. The recipient can then use it without paying anything extra on the day.
Which drop zone to choose
Switzerland has five certified tandem drop zones. Choose based on where your gift recipient lives or is planning to visit:
- Central Switzerland (Lucerne, Zug, Nidwalden): Skydive Luzern, Beromünster
- Bernese Oberland / Bern / Interlaken: Swiss Boogie, Kappelen
- Eastern Switzerland / Zurich / St. Gallen: Skydiving Ostschweiz, Altenrhein
- Mittelland / Solothurn / Basel: Dropzone 47, Grenchen
- Western Switzerland / Neuchâtel / Geneva / Lausanne: Flying Devil, Les Eplatures
If you're unsure, choose the drop zone nearest to the recipient's home. All five offer the same standard tandem experience – the difference is the regional landscape visible during the jump.
Validity and rescheduling
Skydiving vouchers are typically valid for the full jump season (April–October) in which they are issued, or for 12 months. Many drop zones extend validity automatically if the weather prevented the jump on the booked date. Check the specific drop zone's terms when purchasing. The recipient contacts the drop zone directly to book their jump date.
Last-minute vouchers
Need a voucher urgently? Most Swiss drop zones can issue a digital voucher by email within a few hours. Contact the drop zone directly and explain your timeline – they are used to last-minute gift requests before birthdays and Christmas.
