The Home DZ for Geneva's Skydivers

Geneva's licensed skydiving community gathers at Flying Devil in Les Eplatures, ~80 km northeast on the Jura plateau above La Chaux-de-Fonds. It is the primary drop zone for all of French-speaking Switzerland — the drive from Geneva via Lausanne takes about 75 minutes and is a well-worn route for the Romandie skydiving community.

Flying Devil operates in both French and English, making it ideal for Geneva's international population. The Jura plateau at ~1,000 m altitude provides remarkably open views: on clear days, Lac Léman, the Swiss Plateau, and the entire arc of the Western Alps — including Mont Blanc (4,808 m) — are visible from freefall altitude.

All FAI-recognised foreign licences are accepted. Bring your logbook and licence card for your first visit. A check-jump may be requested after extended breaks from jumping.

Yes. While Flying Devil operates primarily in French, the team speaks English and visiting international jumpers are very welcome. Manifesting, safety briefings, and day-to-day operations are all accessible in English. Geneva's international skydiving community regularly uses Flying Devil, so you'll find English-speaking jumpers on most weekends.
Several French drop zones (FFVL-affiliated) are accessible from Geneva — the nearest are in the Ain department (~45–60 km). If you hold a French licence or are comfortable jumping under FFVL rules, these are worth investigating. For a Swiss-licensed jump with Swiss-Parachute regulations, Flying Devil in Les Eplatures is the natural choice.
Saturday is generally the most active day at Flying Devil — the most loads, organised jumps, and community atmosphere. Sunday is good but slightly quieter. Arriving early (8–9am) gives you the best chance of getting on the first load and maximising your jump count for the day. Weekdays outside holidays tend to be very quiet.
