Levels 1–3 (Dual)

The Mittelland and Jura drop zones (Flying Devil, Swiss Boogie) provide safer and more consistent conditions for AFF training — and the drive through the Rhône Valley is scenic in itself.

From Zermatt, take the train to Visp, then drive north via Sion and the A9 motorway towards Neuchâtel for Flying Devil (~110 km, ~1.5 hrs driving from Visp), or continue to Bern/Kappelen for Swiss Boogie (~140 km, ~1.75 hrs). Many students combine an AFF weekend with a stay in Bern or Neuchâtel to minimise daily travel.

Yes. The Swiss parachute licence requires a minimum of 25 total jumps plus a written theory exam. Your 8 AFF levels count towards this total. The remaining 17+ consolidation jumps are completed at standard solo rates after AFF, at your own pace.
